I saw results from a survey on CNBC that said that 76% of Walmart shoppers voted for Geroge Bush, and 80% of..

...people who have never shopped at Walmart voted for the other skull%26amp;bonehead. Is this meaningful? If so, what does it mean?

It's pretty obvious... really
Reply:one more reason why I NEVER EVER shop at Walmart
Reply:Interesting...

Regardless of weather it is good or bad for America, Walmart is a popular store.

but, ... Al Gore did win the popular vote and Kerry was not too far from doing so as well.

A simpler question comes to mind. What percentage of the active American vote shop at Walmart?

...Just a taught...
Reply:Please post a link to that information, I would like to see it.
Reply:thats dumb
Reply:the poor and the lowly educated who voted for georgie are the white trailer trashes who buy their haute couture at wal mart. should white trailer trashes consider themselves republicans?
Reply:Walmart shoppers can get 50 - 80% discounts if they voted Geroge Bush since Bush is the owner of that Walmart. Those shoppers are clever. Bless America.
Reply:It proves that people who shop at Wal-Mart are freakin' morons.

That place is evil, and bad for America.

It's great for China, though.
Reply:Something's wrong with those numbers. Only about 50% of all eligible voters vote in a US presidential election, so it's impossible for both groups to have voted in the 76-80% range.

But then, it doesn't matter anyway, because the US Supreme Court stole the 2000 presidential election for Dumbya by a vote of 5-4.
Reply:About as meaningful as the other polls. Whenever I see on the news results of polls I say, "Well they didn't ask me."
Reply:No it don't mean anything.
Reply:well, i guess you learn something new everyday. hahaha thats a funny fact. i'm sure it means nothing.
Reply:It shows that most republicans are lower middle class rural Americans. Something that Liberals cannot figure out. It's really simple They are people that were raised to stand on their own two feet and work for a living. Not to ask for handouts from the Government

If Democrats were really for the poor they would be out in the Mid West taking to farmers not in NYC talking to the Times or Detroit talking to the big union leaders. That's why if you look at the county map from the last presidential election almost all rural counties voted Republican
Reply:Many people who shop at walmart are republicans. I don't believe this was a real poll, by the way.
Reply:Is that for real? It hardly seems likely you could get some sort of correlation between shopping at Wal-Mart and the person you vote for.

Anyway, I say, "Down with Wal-Mart!" Too many Americans (USA, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, etc...) are losing their jobs to China. For only a few pennies more, you could be buying something made in Mexico or Colombia. If you'd pay just a little more to buy American, then the money would go to the Americas instead of those Commie's who are plotting our downfall.

Doesn't it make more sense to send your money across the border to a democracy instead of across the sea to somebody who wants our government to collapse?
Reply:It means that the uneducated masses of lesser income are forced to shop at Walmart.

The little education they have doesn't suffice for better paying jobs and doesn't give them enough clout to identify that their vote goes to a moron who is rivaling their own stupidity.

That is about it.
