But here in planet Laundry Room we like to say the word means "Bumpin' Uglies"
Reply:"Love" comes from the French "l'oeuf" for egg, since that is what a zero is shaped like.
Reply:i think it means 0
Reply:Figures!!

Men found a way to screw us again.

When they say they love us...does that mean nothing?

ZERO!!!!

LOL
Reply:That is an English term for zero. I guess some brainiac high brow paid someone to find another word for "zero."
Reply:It seems to have been adapted from the phrase 'to play for love (of the game)' (that is, to play for nothing). Although the theory is often heard that it represents the French word l'oeuf an 'egg'. The term "love" can also be said to come from the English phrase "neither for love nor for money", however, more recent theories seem to think this is unlikely.
