Nirvana was more amazing to those who were semi-young when it came out in '91





I grew-up with waiting for the next Zep album - so to me - THEY were the great band.





If I was 20 yrs younger, I met have chosen Nirvana ??

They're more "iconic" imho
Reply:Led Zeppelin. Nirvana is good, but without Led Zeppelin, a lot of bands would have sounded a lot different. They influenced a generation of musicians.

Reply:I would have to say Led Zeppelin, nirvana isn't a bad band i just dont think they are even in the same league with Zeppelin, so its not to fair to compare them,..you are looking at legend against new blood for say, but either way i pick Zeppelin... have a great day

The only group that can get away with writing about Vikings, Lord of the Rings, and...lemons. Plus, they were brilliant and revolutionized rock. There wouldn't be a lot of rock groups without them!
