Do we have the right to claim refund of our improvements made on the lot we occupy which is not ours as survey

Do we have the right to claim refund to all improvements we made including the building on the lot we occupy,that after 5 years ,we conduct resurvey resulted to wrong occupancy.We acquire the lot we occupy in good faith that after 5 years the real owner claim it. do we have the right to claim for the improvements we made?

Absolutely none at all. The owner has the right to decide to keep the improvements as they are or to require you remove it. It is up to the owner, not you.





You can probably sue the hell out of the title company and recover your damages that way, but not from the owner of the property.
