What do you know about the Kyoto Protocol (survey)?
It is a treaty signed my most of the industrialize world to reduce CO2 emissions worldwide. Basically it is a load of crap and not ratified by the US congress because if it was fair it would not exempt some of the worst polluters in the world such as India and China. My opinion it is just a scheme to tax citizens of the wealthiest nations with of course governments getting most of that tax money
Reply:The Kyoto Protocol is a good idea, the problem is it does not have the teeth to make good on its commitments. Look at canada they ratified it but thats it they are not reducing anything and the Kyoto Protocol cannot do anything about it. It also allows India, and china to pollute away as they are just becoming industrial....








Its a great idea just needs ALOT of tweeking
